RFQ 2023-04 – Sidewalk Replacements

The Abbeville Housing Authority (AHA) is seeking quotes from contractors to perform concrete sidewalk replacements at properties owned and operated by the AHA. Abbeville Housing Authority properties are located at 8 separate sites; two located in the city of Abbeville and six spread throughout Abbeville County.

Replacements will involve removing damaged concrete walkways, lifting low areas with fill material, forming, and pouring new in-place concrete.

The successful bidder will be properly licensed and familiar with HUD prevailing wages, Section 3, health, safety, and other associated code ordinances. A detailed work scope can be requested via email to Tuck Hanna, Project Manager,  or in person at the AHA office located at 508 Haigler Street, Abbeville, SC.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for May 24 at 09:00 AM.

It is strongly recommended that the Pre-Bid be attended as all sites will be visited for confirming field measurements and site details. The Pre-Bid Conference will begin at 508 Haigler Street, Abbeville, and proceed from that location to the various AHA sites.

Bid Opening is scheduled for June 01 at 03:00 PM at 508 Haigler Street, Abbeville, SC.
