The Abbeville Housing Authority (AHA) is requesting bids from General Contractors to perform building and exterior upgrades at properties owned and operated by the AHA. The contractor must possess a general contractor's license from the State of SC. AHA properties are located at 8 separate sites located throughout Abbeville County. Upgrades will involve exterior painting, storm door replacements, roof replacements, window shutter replacements, vinyl siding/soffit/fascia repairs and exterior pressure washing. The successful bidder will be properly licensed and familiar with HUD prevailing wages, Davis Bacon Wage, Section 3, health, safety and other associated code ordinances. A detailed work scope can be requested via email to Tuck Hanna, Project Manager or by pickup at the AHA office located at 508 Haigler Street, Abbeville, SC. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for September 26 at 10:00 AM and the Bid Opening is scheduled for October 03 at 3:00 PM. Both meetings will be held at 508 Haigler Street, Abbeville, SC 29620.
